ITEC engages with communities within its geographical areas of operation and those who can benefit from ITEC’s areas of competence. This is achieved by investing appropriate resources in community programmes in a prudent manner.

Environment

ITEC makes continuous improvement in the management of environmental impacts by: complying with applicable laws; undertaking activities that promote environmental responsibility; and encouraging the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies

Health and Safety

ITEC, as far as practicable, provides a safe working environment for the health, safety and welfare of its staff, clients and the public.

Donation Towards Famine Relief

ITEC partnered with Athena Properties Ltd in contributing towards drought relief fund in February 2017 during the official opening of the Two Rivers Mall.
This was after failed rains had left most parts of the country ravaged by drought leaving a majority of Kenyans without food and water.

ITEC Supports “Souls of Charity Initiative”

The event dubbed “Touch a Street Soul this Easter” was held on the 9th April 2017 and involved giving back to the community by spending time and celebrating the Easter cheer with street children in Nairobi.

ITEC Visits Kilimani Primary School in Nairobi

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, ITEC Engineering Ltd donated books to support the Nairobi Integrated Educational Programme (NIEP) at Kilimani Primary School in Nairobi on the 25th January 2018.
Under the programme, visually impaired learners are enrolled and integrated into regular public schools together with their sighted peers to enable them to exploit their full potential in classwork and outdoor activities.
The team from ITEC also had time to interact with the pupils who narrated their future ambitions. ITEC was proud to have assisted them in getting an equal opportunity and a fighting chance in competing with their sighted peers when it comes to education
