Description of the Project | The four (4) estates were to be redeveloped to ultra-modern high rise residences include: Old Ngara Estate The site is located North of Nairobi River and to the South of Ngara Road/Ngara Lane junction where Equity Bank is located. To the South East it abuts the busy Ngara (Nyayo) Market. New Ngara Estate The site is located along Ring Road Ngara South of the Old Ngara Estate. Figure 2 below is a schematic showing the proposed access points. Pangani Estate The site is situated along Quarry Road and bounded by Ring Road Ngara, Kirima Market, and Muslim Girls Secondary School. It is located just opposite Kariokor Market served by the dual Carriageway of Ring Road that connects the area to Pangani & Muranga Road/Thika Superhighway. Jeevanjee Estate The site is bounded by Juja Road to the South, to the East by Ring Road Ngara and Muranga Road to the Northwest. |
Description of the Services | Analysis of the traffic data using PTV vistro software that is based on HCM 2010 edition analysis criteria; Conducting a micro-simulation analysis using PTV –Visim software Writing a Traffic Impact Assessment report with concept intersection and road access designs/improvements; Undertaking detailed designs of the proposed access to the hospital; Submitting the report and drawings to the relevant road authorities for approval. |
